A recording of anything i could do with two empty 1,5 l plastic bottles. A lot of sounds you can squeeze from a plastic bottles. Just no sounds of opening and closing a s i didn't have the caps. Recorded with a zoom h2, rear mics. The recording was done in a small room with a thinc carpet, there is soem natural short reverb but not too bad. Very little background noise. Converted to flac using audacity.

A hillside above the croatian coastal town of brela, in the afternoon, featuring crickets, some quiet background traffic, and nothing much more. These recordings were done during my recent vacation in brela, croatia, with a zoom h2 set at 90° diffusion. 4ch field recording of an underpass below a german motorway, the a38 by leipzig. The recorder is located directly beneath an expansion joint on the edge of the underpass, the clonks and clanks of cars and trucks driving over the joint can clearly be heard, with the motorway noise reverberating in the underpass in the background. Recorded with a zoom h2 with a rycote windscreen, mounted on a boom pole. These are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

This is the sound of a rat gnawing its way down through our wooden ceiling (and 2 days after this recording there was a hole about an inch wide in the ceiling!). Recorded july 15th 2015 around 10 o'clock in the evening in the livingroom of my house in fredensborg, denmark, with a portable recorder zoom h2n. The soundfile was then exported from the recorder to a windows pc through usb, and normalized (i. E. Amplitude brought up to 0 decibel) using steinberg's wavelab software before uploading to freesound.

This is a recording of an old black rotary telephone sounds. The sounds are first the handset being lifted, then the top switches being pressed, then the handset returned. This is then followed by the dial sounds starting with 1 then going all the way through to 0. By editing using the sounds a complete telephone process can be created. Recorded using zoom h2.

Insects (i think mostly crickets) make this noise. It sounds so. . . Infernal!, or futuristic (electronic for sure). I recorded this (with my old zoom ii recorder) one summer night in tlacotlapan, at the southern mexican state of veracruz. All this happened for hours inside my hotel room. There is a man in besiktas ferry port. He sits and plays trumpet between üsküdar port and kadıköy port. I saw him there couple times. So he belongs that place in a sense. I added flanger at two point just for my taste :) recorded by zoom h6 with internal xy mic on last quarter of 2019.

You can hear crickets, chocoyos (pacific parakeet), mosquitos, and other birds. This sound was recorded on an october morning in the chocoyero - el brujo natural reserve, in nicaragua, central america, with a zoom h5. It's a nice sound from a place i love. Hope you can hear it and use it as you please.

About 5 minutes of ambient audio of surf crashing on the rocks of hokitika beach near sunset point. Recorded with a zoom h1 in february 2017. I do state the location and date at the very end - so be sure to clip it if you use this! there are no other sounds like cars, people, or airplanes. Just surf breaking on the rocks!.

This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

While making field recordings on the harvest moon trail in wolfville, ns, a bunch of kids rode past on their way to school. A few said hello. The stereo on the bikes going past is nice. These could be used as substitutes for whoosh types of audio effects. Recorded with a zoom h1n with windscreen at 24-bit 48khz resolution and cleaned up in izotope rx. Enjoy!.

Field recording on h4n zoom recorder as a concrete was spayed against the wire frame of our in ground pool. This has been normalized, equalized and compressed in audacity. While recording birds at the south sutor above cromarty, black isle, highlands, scotland on may 7th 2014 about 3pm a raf sea king came along to practice cliff rescues nearby to my annoyance so recorded it instead. It hovered behind the trees nearby before heading towards the cliff did a lower and lift and then swept round in large circle before heading back over the sea to the base at lossiemouth. Recorded using a zoom h2n recorder and software provided with recorder called wavelab. No alteration or special effects used.

A grey squirrel (sciurus carolinensis) recorded early afternoon on 23rd july, 2018. The animal was shaking its tail while calling from the trees, approximately, 3 metres from the ground. Recorded with sennheiser k6/me66 attached to a zoom h5. Editing was done with audacity, mainly to cut the worst of the road and aircraft noise. No noise reduction was been carried out. There is some road, aircraft and rail noise. There can also be heard woodpigeon, carrion crow, blue tit and some insects.

I needed the sound effect for a car arriving. These were recorded in my driveway. 2011 honda element, waliking to car, starting it, backing down driveway, driving back up driveway, stopping car and walking away.
